 Remote Deluxe River CampThis hunt isn't for the average hunter. Our Remote camp is deep in the heart of the Eagle Cap Wilderness, 15 miles from the trailhead. With time for breaks to stretch your legs, it takes seven hours to ride into the camp. Only the fittest hunters should consider this trip. For those hunters willing to put forth the effort, this is a great hunt with several advantages.1. Hunting this deep in the wilderness translates into a lack of hunter pressure. 2. We provide the cook, food, and all the meals, which allows the hunter to devote more time to hunting without the hassle of cooking dinner or washing dishes. 3. Several spike camps are available to the hunters with nearly 60,000 acres available to hunt; this allows the hunters to cover much more country. These camps are set up and stocked with basic supplies, unmanned except by the hunters. 4. Last but certainly not least--you'll be hunting in the Minam Unit. This means you'll be hunting in the area the new state record archery bull was taken. In addition, resident elk hunters are virtually guaranteed they'll draw a tag, and the deer hunt draw rate is 70%, one of the highest in the state. 5. For nonresident hunters, outfitter tags are available on a limited basis. This camp is limited to 8 hunters and is available on a first come first served basis.
